Around 5,000 Hindus and Sikhs were taken to Alibeg prison. Before that, around 10,000 of them were slaughtered during their march to this prison. K.R. Sudhakar Rao has shared some gory details of the genocide that took place at Alibeg prison in Whispers of the Unknown Kashmir Files (pp. 24–27):

The book  `Swarna Bharati’ is a treasure house of historical facts and figures and in a single volume gives the entire economic history of India.  It also has an annexure on the loot which happened in the Andhra region by enforcing heavy taxes on farmers, ensuring that they produce commercial crops for British benefit, and starving and depriving people of food crops, all data is taken from the British official records.

Prof Seshagiri Rao does a great service with his book which is a treasure-house of knowledge on the unprecedented political march of Islam in India, leading to mayhem, destruction, division of a prosperous, cultured and civilized ancient nation, genocide of Hindus and Sikhs, which at a conservative estimate is over 2 million. Samvit Prakashan deserves a huge applause for making this book available to the readers, this is a book every Indian must read.  

Sri Gurumurthy brilliantly analyzes the nature of this new animal `geo-christian secularism’ which was disdainfully thrust upon the non-suspecting quintessential traditional Hindu India, by a western educated elite post-1947. He discusses this nature of `socialist, secular’ India, in the background of momentous events before 1947 which paved way for the dominance of ‘geo-christian secular’ ideologies on India.
